These are countries where crime rate is so low that you don’t even have to lock your door after you leave your house. Top ten low crime-rate countries in the World are,

1- Cyprus, the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, is a destination where personal safety is guaranteed.

2- Denmark is another north European country that belongs to the safest countries in the world. The homicide rate is as low as 0.88 per 100,000 people. The rates of pick-pocketing are also very low.

3- Iceland is very famous for its unspoiled nature. The murders rate is 0.00 and Iceland is with no doubt the safest country in the world! There are only 700 police officers in the country.

4- Ireland, The green island famous for its culture, is also one of the safest countries in the world. It has one of the lowest homicide rates in Europe – 0.32 per 100,000 people.

5- The homicide rate is in Japan 0.44 per 100,000 inhabitants a year. Theft and crime are also very rare in Japan.

6- Luxembourg is the safest country in the world, since it is a tiny state with only half a million people.

7- Beautiful landscape describes New Zealand. No political unrest, stable economy and isolation make New Zealand one of the safest countries in the world. The homicide rate is 2.0, violent crime is almost unknown.

8- Norway is fjords and white nights. Norway is with its homicide rate of 0.71 per 100,000 also one of the safest countries in Europe. No wars, no political unrests.

9- Singapore is a very popular place to visit. There are in fact no conflicts between the cultures. The homicide rate is only 0.38 per 100 000 inhabitants.

10- Switzerland is famous for its watches, trains, banks and mountains. Switzerland is also one of the safest countries in the world. The homicide rate is 2.2 per 100,000 people a year.
